Saturday meetings are held the second Saturday of the month, the program begins at 10 a.m. at the Ridgedale Lunds & Byerly’s Community Room.
The room is reserved from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Plan to stay for lunch and stitch into the afternoon.

Monday Group meets the first Monday of every month in the Community Room at Byerly’s in Ridgedale. The room is reserved from 9:30 AM until 12:30 PM. Meetings start at 10:00 AM.

November 6: We will be handing out the scissor fob kits by Sue Hawkins that people have ordered. The 9th (Nobuko), and 10th (Daisies with upright satin stitch and single herringbone) areas of the Stitch of the Month will be covered. Lynn K will teach how and why to lace your work to stretcher bars.
December 4: This is our annual holiday party. Please join us for a new holiday project. Information to follow. We will also cover the remainder of the Stitch of the Month. This year everyone will purchase their own lunch at Lunds and Byerlys and ANG will provide the yummy desserts. Please consider bringing a cash donation for the local food shelf.

On Saturdays we have the room reserved until 3pm so you are always welcome to stay for lunch, and then stitch into the afternoon!

THIS MONTH! The Hopkins library is located at 22 11th Ave. N.,
Hopkins, MN 55343, and we have the meeting room reserved until noon.
Open stitching this month since several people will be at the NGM workshops.
November 11:
Michele S will discuss “Bargello Fun” by Carol Algie Higginbotham from the ANG
project book. This 4-way bargello project is stitched on 18 count mono canvas. The sample used DMC Floss. A signup sheet for a copy of the pattern will be
at the October meeting, or let Erica L know via email that you’d like a copy.
We will also continue working on the Stitch of the Month Project, Area 11 (Staggered Mosaic-Erica L) and Area 12 (Couching-Sara G) will be discussed.
December 9: We’ll have our annual winter holiday pot luck lunch and open stitching. For the potluck, if you wish to participate, please buy your own
beverage and something at Byerly’s to share after you arrive (no outside food or beverage allowed), plates, utensils and napkins will be provided.

  1. I am newly retired and a beginner at needle work. I am very interested in coming to a meeting but am not sure if I must have a certain amount of skill before I can do so.
    Do you welcome beginners?
